Accountant & Purchase Officer (Dubai)

About the role

The company, a Dubai‑based provider of glass and aluminium solutions, is looking for an Accountant & Purchase Officer to oversee procurement, invoicing and delivery coordination. The role combines financial administration with end‑to‑end purchasing to support project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full procurement cycle: prepare purchase requisitions, issue RFQs, negotiate with suppliers and generate purchase orders.
• Prepare and issue sales invoices aligned with project milestones and verify supplier invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records, follow up on customer payments and support cash‑flow monitoring.
• Coordinate material deliveries with suppliers, transporters and site teams, track delivery notes and GRNs, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Update and maintain approved supplier lists, pricing records and procurement documentation.
• Provide regular procurement status reports and cost summaries to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, accounts payable/receivable or related administrative roles, preferably in the glass, aluminium or construction sector.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Willingness to travel as required (100 % travel readiness).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with basic accounting software for AP/AR processing.
• Strong vendor and logistics coordination abilities.
