Accountant – Retail & E‑commerce Finance

About the role

Maison Tini is seeking a hands‑on Accountant to own the day‑to‑day accounting function and financial reporting for its multi‑channel retail, e‑commerce and B2B operations. You will work closely with management to provide clear visibility over cash flow, profitability and working capital.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
• Lead the monthly closing process and produce P&L, balance sheet, cash‑flow, AR and AP reports.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing, supplier payments and follow‑up on overdue balances.
• Reconcile bank accounts, sales platforms and payment gateways across retail, e‑commerce and B2B channels.
• Handle inventory accounting – stock purchases, landed‑cost allocation, inventory reconciliation and discrepancy investigation.
• Oversee consignment accounting, monthly sales reporting and partner payments.
• Prepare VAT reconciliations, returns and support UAE corporate tax and other statutory filings.
• Provide management with timely financial reporting and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Continuously improve internal controls and accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax and local accounting regulations.
• Experience in retail, e‑commerce or inventory‑based businesses.
