Accountant – Revenue & Interline Finance

About the role

The Accountant will ensure timely processing, accounting and payment of supplier invoices, incentives and refunds, while managing revenue recognition and interline billing for Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Process and reconcile supplier invoices, incentives, refunds and ensure accurate accounting.
• Handle sales/revenue recognition and interline transactions, providing assurance on completeness and accuracy.
• Identify discrepancies through audits, raise collections issues and investigate balance movements.
• Analyse and report flight revenue yields and maintain alignment with the Quality Management System.
• Validate accounting and control reports from outstations and perform detailed analysis.
• Support month‑end closing, investigate balance movements and minimise adjustments.
• Provide data‑analytical support for MIS, KPI reporting and revenue assurance.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting experience, preferably in aviation or airline finance.
• Knowledge of revenue recognition, interline billing and invoice processing.
• Strong analytical ability to detect discrepancies and perform reconciliations.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight reporting deadlines.
• Capability to support finance officers during month‑end and year‑end processes.
