Accounts and Audit Executive

About the role

Nevertiti Star Trading is seeking an Accounts and Audit Executive to join its finance team in Dubai. The role ensures accurate financial records, compliance with UAE regulations, and supports strategic decision‑making as the company expands its trading and distribution operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Conduct internal audits to evaluate controls, risk management and governance.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documentation for annual audits.
• Perform bank reconciliations, manage cash flow and ensure operational efficiency.
• Prepare and file VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with UAE tax laws.
• Analyse financial data, produce forecasts and deliver insights to senior management.
• Maintain organized, confidential financial records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proven experience in accounts and audit, preferably within trading or distribution.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CA is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE corporate and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English.
