Accounts Executive – Business Planning & Analysis

About the role

The Business Planning & Analysis (BP&A) team at Al-Futtaim is looking for an Accounts Executive to support strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis. You will work closely with the Brand Finance Head and team to ensure accurate, timely financial information and help drive business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the BP&A Brand Finance team in managing the strategic plan, annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Prepare, circulate and follow‑up on regular and ad‑hoc financial reports and analyses.
• Support automation initiatives and finance‑related projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Brand Finance Head and the wider finance team.

Required profile

• Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, management reporting and corporate finance tools, preferably within the Middle‑East retail sector.
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills with a commercial mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and maintain effective relationships.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Good working knowledge of other MS Office applications.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
