Accounts Manager – Divisional Controlling

About the role

Responsible for providing accounting advisory, policy and process guidance, audit support and driving balance‑sheet substantiation to ensure quality financials for Al‑Futtaim’s divisions. The role reports to the Senior Finance Manager and works closely with business finance, GMs and automotive finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain divisional accounting policies and process notes, supporting group finance in policy reviews and gap analysis.
• Lead balance‑sheet substantiation, periodic reviews of misstatements and coordination with shared service centres for timely period close.
• Coordinate external audit activities, track progress against audit programmes and provide required documentation to auditors.
• Liaise with business units on legal entity establishment, closure and insurance requirements to mitigate financial risks.
• Support FP&A and controlling teams on complex accounting judgments and deliver training on IAS, IFRS and internal policies.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in a large organization, preferably at a supervisory level.
• Experience reporting to senior finance leadership and interacting with business finance functions.

Required skills

• Exposure to ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Knowledge of SAP BW and SAP BPC.
• Strong analytical and process‑oriented mindset.
