Accounts Officer (Arabic/English) – Dubai

About the role

Future International Nursery is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Officer who is fluent in Arabic and English. The role involves managing the nursery’s financial operations, ensuring accurate record‑keeping, and supporting budgeting and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring the annual budget, providing regular performance reports.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management and regulatory compliance.
• Support internal and external audits by supplying required documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and educational regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to address financial inquiries and budget matters.
• Use accounting software to update records and maintain data integrity.
• Assist payroll processing, including verification of employee hours.
• Provide training to staff on financial policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven accounting experience, preferably in the education sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
