Accounts Payable Supervisor

About the role

The Accounts Payable Supervisor will oversee the processing of invoices, vendor payments and related financial records for The St. Regis Downtown Dubai. This role ensures accuracy, compliance with company policies and timely resolution of outstanding items while supporting the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings and documents for accuracy.
• Maintain organized files, records and cash equivalents in line with policies.
• Record, store and analyse computerized financial information.
• Classify, code and summarize numerical data using journals, ledgers or accounting software.
• Prepare, audit and distribute financial, accounting and payroll reports.
• Execute period‑end closing procedures and related reporting.
• Prepare, review, reconcile and issue bills, invoices and account statements.
• Follow up on past‑due accounts and vendor invoices until resolved.
• Coordinate tasks with other departments and act as a role model for the team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant accounts payable experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
