AI Engineering Intern – Dubai

About the role

Join Bain’s AI, Insights & Solutions team as an AI Engineering Intern. You will work on real client projects, helping design and develop generative AI applications and agentic solutions that drive measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of GenAI applications such as copilots, workflow automation, and decision‑support tools.
• Support implementation of AI pipelines, including Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), fine‑tuning, and embedding optimization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of consultants, product designers, architects, and client stakeholders.
• Participate in the full AI development lifecycle from prototyping to production‑ready deployment.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic about AI and eager to learn through hands‑on project work.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical solutions.
• Effective communication skills for teamwork and client interaction.

Required skills

• Experience with large language model (LLM) stacks.
• Knowledge of Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
• Familiarity with fine‑tuning and parameter‑efficient tuning methods.
• Understanding of embedding generation and optimization.
