AI Foundry Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Foundry Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise‑grade AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role focuses on translating business requirements into scalable Generative AI applications and managing the full AI solution lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy AI and Generative AI solutions using Microsoft Azure and Azure AI Foundry.
• Build production‑ready AI applications, APIs, automation workflows, and intelligent services with Python.
• Create LLM‑powered applications such as RAG pipelines, AI agents, copilots, and conversational solutions.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI models and other AI services into enterprise applications.
• Develop prompt‑engineering strategies and optimise model responses for accuracy and relevance.
• Construct data and retrieval pipelines, work with vector databases, embeddings, and document processing.
• Evaluate AI models using quality, performance, and business metrics.
• Implement security, monitoring, logging, and governance for AI workloads.
• Optimise AI applications for scalability, latency, reliability, and cloud cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data teams, product managers, and business stakeholders.
• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation specifications.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve deployed solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, data engineering, or a closely related field.
• Strong hands‑on programming experience with Python.
• Proven ability to deliver production‑ready AI solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Generative AI architectures, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
