Air Conditioning Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Air Conditioning Technician to join our hotel maintenance team in Dubai. The successful candidate will install, service and repair temperature and air quality control systems, ensuring exceptional guest comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all electrical and mechanical refrigeration systems, including freezers, fridges, ice makers, fan coil units and chillers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air‑conditioning and refrigeration equipment throughout the hotel.
• Monitor performance of refrigeration components and verify door closing systems on walk‑in coolers and freezers.
• Maintain defrosting systems and automation of ice makers.
• Respond to maintenance requests from all departments and ensure routine cleaning of fan coil units and air‑handling filters.
• Check performance of air‑conditioning and chilled‑water systems and cooperate with engineering colleagues to diagnose failures.
• Control venting of CFCs, overhaul equipment, and monitor refrigeration and oil levels.
• Coordinate with the engineering storekeeper for parts procurement and comply with technical regulations and safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma in maintenance of refrigeration systems or building services engineering.
• Proven experience in operating and maintaining hotel refrigeration and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Good command of English.
• Ability to identify faults and rectify subsystems.
• Self‑motivated, hands‑on, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail and reliable teamwork.
