Aircraft Appearance Mechanic

About the role

The Aircraft Appearance Mechanic ensures that Etihad’s fleet complies with all regulatory requirements for aircraft disinsection and pest control. Working on both Etihad aircraft and partner airline planes, the role also operates the Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) to support exterior dry‑wash and technical cleaning tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute scheduled pest‑control and disinfection activities across the fleet.
• Operate MEWP safely to perform exterior washing and technical cleaning.
• Verify that all work complies with Etihad safety, quality, health and airport regulations.
• Complete and sign‑off work using approved AMM, TPM and AMOS job cards.
• Maintain a safe working environment and promote a positive reporting culture.

Required profile

• Minimum two years experience in a live aviation ramp environment.
• Basic aviation familiarity, preferably through an apprenticeship.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• UAE driving licence is preferred.
