Aircraft Dispatcher

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Dispatcher to manage flight turnaround operations at Etihad Airways’ hub in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures safe, on‑time departures while coordinating with internal teams, government agencies and service providers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all turnaround activities, briefing gate staff, crew and ramp teams on arrivals and departures.
• Lead Etihad and third‑party agents to anticipate and resolve delays, communicating changes to all stakeholders.
• Manage load planning for various aircraft types, producing accurate Loading Instruction Reports and final Loadsheets.
• Allocate delay codes, record turnaround events and analyse trends for service improvement.
• Identify and mitigate safety risks in accordance with company risk‑assessment procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary school education (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in aircraft dispatch, load control, ramp operations or a related airline‑operations role.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, weight‑and‑balance rules and airline operational procedures.
• Excellent communication and decision‑making abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
