Aircraft Technician - Line Maintenance

About the role

Emirates is seeking a qualified Aircraft Technician to join its Line Maintenance team at Dubai International Airport. The role involves performing routine and non‑routine maintenance on Emirates and third‑party aircraft, ensuring compliance with manufacturer procedures and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft, engine and component servicing, fluid replenishment, refuelling and system charging in accordance with approved manuals.
• Perform approved structural repairs and component replacements as directed by the supervising Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
• Interpret and use Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC) and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM) to execute tasks.
• Assist Licensed Aircraft Engineers in troubleshooting, defect rectification and modification work.
• Maintain a clean, FOD‑free work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are audited and serviced regularly.
• Adhere to airport safety regulations, hold a valid Airport Driving Permit and comply with manoeuvring area requirements.
• Participate in safety culture initiatives by reporting hazards and suggesting improvements.

Required profile

• Relevant technical training for aircraft line maintenance and ability to work under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and procedures.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards and continuous improvement.
• Valid Airport Driving Permit and familiarity with airport operational rules.

Required skills

• Proficiency in reading and applying Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPC) and Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM).
• Ability to perform routine aircraft and component servicing, including fluid handling and system charging.
• Basic troubleshooting and defect rectification techniques.
• Good housekeeping practices to prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
