About the role
Deel is the all‑in‑one payroll and HR platform enabling global teams to work seamlessly across more than 150 countries. As an Analytics Engineer you will help build the data foundation that powers our AI‑driven tools, supporting millions of workers and businesses worldwide. You will work at the forefront of the global work revolution, designing robust data models and pipelines that drive critical business insights.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data models (e.g., in dbt) aligned with the overall data architecture and business requirements.
- Manage end‑to‑end data pipelines, handling extraction, transformation, and loading to ensure timely and accurate data for analysis.
- Write and optimise complex SQL queries and macros to transform data efficiently and improve performance.
- Implement data quality checks and cleansing routines to guarantee reliable and accurate datasets.
