Application Developer & Support Engineer (FINIQ, .NET, MS SQL)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Application Developer & Support Engineer to own and optimise our FINIQ core platform environment. The role combines backend development, database engineering and tier‑2/3 production support, ideal for a professional who can both build new features and resolve complex issues.

Key responsibilities

• Write, debug, and tune complex MS SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Ensure database integrity, high availability, and optimal performance across the FINIQ environment.
• Build and maintain backend services using the .NET (C#) framework.
• Design, build, and execute automated testing frameworks for validation.
• Provide tier‑2/3 technical support, resolving complex application bottlenecks.
• Engineer reliable CI/CD pipelines to eliminate manual deployment intervention.
• Audit existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and propose process or technical improvements.
• Leverage Node.js and .NET to integrate modern APIs and microservices.
• Manage, maintain, and optimise the FINIQ core application environment end‑to‑end.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in .NET/C# backend development.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in MS SQL Server (query tuning, stored procedures, triggers, performance optimisation).
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and automation.
• Familiarity with Node.js for API/micro‑services integration.
• Background in tier‑2/3 production support, comfortable acting as an escalation point.
• Prior exposure to core banking, trading or financial platforms is preferred.
