Application Engineer – Mechanical Engineering & Composites

About the role

The Application Engineer supports sales and proposal teams by providing technical bid expertise for FGS products. This role ensures that designs meet performance specifications, engineering standards, applicable codes, and operational feasibility within the oil and gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical bid support to sales and proposal activities.
• Validate that FGS products are applied according to design and performance specifications.
• Maintain technical governance and oversee resource planning for engineering projects.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements across technical processes.
• Resolve complex technical and commercial challenges while ensuring compliance with NOV ethics and quality standards.
• Provide training and guidance to the FGS team as required.

Required profile

• Strong background in mechanical engineering with experience in composites.
• Ability to work closely with sales and proposal teams to translate technical requirements.
• Understanding of engineering principles, relevant codes, and operational feasibility.
• Commitment to ethical standards and quality compliance.
