Arabic Teacher (Maternity Cover) – August Start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an experienced Arabic Teacher to cover a maternity leave at Mamoura British Academy, starting in August 2026. The school follows a British curriculum, is mixed‑gender up to Year 8 and girls‑only from Year 9, and is located in a state‑of‑the‑art campus in the heart of Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Arabic lessons that inspire students to achieve their best outcomes.
• Plan, prepare and present sessions that cater to the full ability range within the class.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to design curriculum‑aligned lessons and resources.
• Communicate effectively with parents and support staff to promote student wellbeing and academic progress.
• Assess, observe and record student performance, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Maintain a positive, organized classroom environment with appropriate displays and learning materials.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of teaching experience (approximately 60 months) in Arabic.
• Strong understanding of the British curriculum and ability to adapt it for Arabic instruction.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to building positive relationships within the school community.
• Alignment with the school’s core values and an appreciation of regional cultural norms.
