Architect II – Facilities Planning & Design

About the role

AL TAIF Technical Services LLC is seeking an Architect II to lead the planning, design, and execution of new construction, extensions, and renovation projects for its land platform and equipment facilities. The role ensures all architectural work aligns with the company’s strategic objectives and quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage architectural and engineering services throughout project planning phases.
• Prepare and review project planning documents, scopes of work, and contract schedules.
• Oversee consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
• Conduct conceptual studies, preliminary designs, and alternative analyses for building systems.
• Implement sustainable development and energy‑efficiency concepts in facility design.
• Participate in design reviews, master‑plan implementation, and facility renovation initiatives.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of company information and support the Facilities Department as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in architectural planning, design, and project management for construction or facilities projects.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
• Ability to assess consultant performance and manage contract deliverables.
• Excellent analytical skills for reviewing technical proposals and ensuring alignment with program scope.
