Architect II

About the role

The Architect II will lead all phases of architectural work for AL TAIF Technical Services LLC, from planning and design to overseeing construction of new buildings, extensions, and renovations. The role ensures projects align with program scope, ISO standards, and the organization’s safety and environmental policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design, and supervise construction of new facilities, extensions, and renovation projects.
• Develop and review project planning documents for consistency with program scope.
• Manage long‑range facilities planning and programming across all AL TAIF programs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Monitor consultants and contractors to meet contractual and technical requirements.
• Support in‑house teams in project scoping, SOW preparation, and selection of architects and engineers.
• Conduct conceptual studies, preliminary designs, and alternative analyses for building systems.
• Participate in design reviews, provide expert advice to senior management, and maintain confidentiality of company information.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering architectural and engineering services during project planning.
• Ability to assess consultant and contractor performance against technical specifications.
• Experience preparing contract schedules and supporting in‑house project development.
• Knowledge of sustainable design concepts and energy‑efficiency practices.
• Strong analytical skills for periodic reviews of master‑plan implementation.
• Capability to support facilities department colleagues and perform additional duties as assigned.
