Architect – Infrastructure and Waterfront Projects

About the role

Geosyntec is seeking an experienced Architect to lead the design and coordination of infrastructure and waterfront projects in Dubai. You will work within a collaborative, technically driven environment, contributing to both project delivery and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage siting, permitting, planning, licensing, and compliance for masterplans, industrial clusters, warehouses, pre‑engineered buildings, and supporting infrastructure.
• Facilitate value engineering and design optimisation to achieve cost‑effective solutions.
• Oversee project delivery, including planning, financial control, change and risk management, and contract administration.
• Support clients through tendering, evaluation, and award processes.
• Ensure coordinated designs meet client expectations, technical standards, and code requirements.
• Prepare reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering or a related field (required).
• 5–7+ years of experience overseeing design of infrastructure buildings and facilities.
• Professional licensure is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor staff and manage multidisciplinary teams.
