Architect – Multi‑discipline Design & Cost Support

About the role

The role is an interim, consolidated position for a capable architect who can support AAHG’s active projects. You will produce high‑quality architectural drawings, manage coordinated Revit/AutoCAD outputs, and assist with cost estimation, benchmarking, value engineering and material research under management direction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, details, schedules, layouts, sections, elevations and model content across all project stages.
• Translate design intent, sketches and mark‑ups into coordinated Revit and AutoCAD outputs with accurate dimensions, annotations and references.
• Support the creation of drawing packs, presentation materials, submission binders and management review packages.
• Maintain strict revision control, applying AAHG layering, annotation, plotting, naming and filing standards.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural and internal design teams to resolve basic clashes and update drawings.
• Assist with RFIs, consultant queries and internal clarifications through technical sketches and marked‑up drawings.
• Prepare preliminary and detailed cost estimates by trade using UAE market rates, maintain cost registers and flag major variances.
• Research alternative materials and systems, produce comparison matrices and recommend cost‑benefit solutions.

Required profile

• Practical multi‑discipline design resource able to support active projects.
• Strong drafting accuracy and disciplined revision control.
• Ability to prepare submission and presentation packages.
• Cost‑aware mindset with experience in benchmarking and value engineering.
• Proactive in material research and comparison.
