Architectural Design Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Design Manager to lead design strategy, coordination, and delivery for our remote projects in the UAE. The role combines creative vision with technical expertise to ensure high‑quality, sustainable outcomes that meet client expectations and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement architectural design strategies, standards, and workflows aligned with organizational goals.
• Lead projects from concept through design development, technical documentation, construction support, and completion.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, BIM specialists, interior designers, urban planners, contractors, consultants, project managers, clients, and executive leadership.
• Manage design reviews, concept presentations, technical workshops, coordination meetings, and stakeholder engagement.
• Oversee architectural drawings, specifications, BIM models, visualisation materials, and technical submissions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, international standards, accessibility, sustainability, and safety codes.
• Control design quality, constructability reviews, value engineering, risk assessments, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor KPIs such as design quality, milestone achievement, approval timelines, coordination efficiency, budget performance, and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with consultants, authorities, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for successful implementation.
• Manage design budgets, consultant agreements, resources, software platforms, and external partnerships.
• Drive digital transformation through BIM, digital twins, AI‑assisted design tools, generative design, parametric modelling, workflow automation, and business intelligence solutions.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior professional with proven leadership in architectural design management.
• Strong understanding of UAE building regulations and international architectural standards.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with external partners.
• Ability to oversee budgets, contracts, and resource allocation.
