Architectural Inspector – Civil Projects

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is looking for a highly skilled Architectural Inspector to ensure the quality and compliance of civil architectural projects in Abu Dhabi. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding design standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of civil architectural works to verify adherence to design specifications and local regulations.
• Review architectural drawings, plans, and blueprints, identifying discrepancies or potential issues.
• Monitor construction progress, assess workmanship quality, and report any deviations from approved plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve inspection findings.
• Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate project records.
• Provide guidance on best practices, quality standards, and regulatory compliance to on‑site teams.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to communicate updates, recommendations, and resolutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience as an Architectural or Civil Inspector in construction or consultancy.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and travel to site locations.
