Architectural Inspector

About the role

KEO Group is seeking a qualified Architectural Inspector to join its Abu Dhabi office. The role focuses on ensuring that construction projects strictly follow architectural plans, local building codes, regulations, and safety standards through diligent on‑site inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by contractors and take timely action.
• Review shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practice.
• Report any work that deviates from approved drawings and specifications to stakeholders for corrective action.
• Monitor quality of works and assess site safety, including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual and QCS specifications.
• Maintain daily site records, including progress photographs, and make them readily available for inspection.
• Prepare inspection reports and documentation as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Architectural Inspector or similar role, ensuring compliance with architectural plans, building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to conduct thorough on‑site inspections and communicate findings effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
