Area Manager - Affluent Priority Banking

About the role

Emirates NBD is seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead its Affluent Priority Banking segment in Dubai. The role oversees multiple clusters within a defined geographical area, driving profitability and ensuring high‑quality service for priority clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall P&L for the area, meeting budgeted business volumes and profitability targets.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of 30‑40 Relationship Managers and Unit Managers through performance reviews, on‑the‑job coaching and structured training.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with priority clients, ensuring regular personal engagement and visits.
• Monitor performance using financial and non‑financial dashboards, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Design and execute sales and marketing plans tailored to each micro‑market to achieve growth objectives.
• Ensure compliance with operational risk, credit, AML and KYC policies, escalating any suspicious activity.
• Provide market feedback to product teams to support product development and service enhancements.

Required profile

• Approximately 8 years of experience in banking, covering retail, wealth management or related areas.
• Strong business judgment and ability to drive results in a competitive market.
• Proven leadership experience managing large teams and delivering P&L responsibility.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with high‑net‑worth clients.
