ART Laboratory Technologist – Assisted Reproductive Technology

About the role

A leading fertility and reproductive medicine centre in Dubai is looking for an experienced Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Laboratory Technologist. You will join a multidisciplinary team to support IVF and ICSI laboratory workflows and ensure high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Support assisted reproductive technology laboratory procedures.
• Prepare and process reproductive specimens.
• Assist with IVF, ICSI, oocyte and embryo handling according to protocols.
• Maintain embryo culture, assessment, cryopreservation and thawing processes.
• Ensure accurate patient and specimen identification and traceability.
• Monitor laboratory equipment, environmental conditions and quality‑control measures.
• Maintain detailed laboratory records and collaborate with embryologists, andrologists, physicians and nursing staff.
• Participate in quality‑improvement and safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in Biomedical Science, Reproductive Biology, Biotechnology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Embryology or related field.
• Relevant training in assisted reproductive technology.
• Previous experience in an IVF/ART laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail, adherence to SOPs and commitment to patient safety and confidentiality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
