Art Teacher – iGCSE Secondary

About the role

The International Community Schools network is seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join Al Maharat Private School for the 2026/27 academic year. The role focuses on delivering the iGCSE Art curriculum to high/secondary students, fostering creativity and artistic development in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with iGCSE standards.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Integrate a variety of media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
• Maintain a well‑organized classroom and manage resources effectively.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art Education or a related field.
• Minimum four years of teaching experience at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of iGCSE Art curriculum requirements.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
