Art Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join its growing network of schools in Abu Dhabi. The role starts immediately and involves delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned art lessons to students across a wide ability range.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver art lessons that follow the British curriculum and inspire creativity.
• Assess student progress, record data and use assessment outcomes to inform future planning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and support school events.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s Behaviour Policy.
• Act as a form tutor, providing pastoral care and communicating regularly with parents.
• Maintain classroom resources, displays and a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject with PGCE or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in the English National (UK) Curriculum.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Commitment to professional development and CPD.

Required skills

• Clear understanding of the British (UK) curriculum.
• Experience using school assessment systems and data‑driven planning.
