Artificial Intelligence Engineer

About the role

Meydan Free Zone is seeking a dynamic Artificial Intelligence Engineer to design, develop, integrate and deploy AI‑powered applications across the organization. The role covers the full AI development lifecycle, from prototyping and experimentation to production deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI applications end‑to‑end, from prototype to production.
• Develop and maintain AI coding agents, ensuring robust architecture, security and maintainability.
• Create agent workflows on top of foundation models and integrate AI into products and backend services.
• Implement evaluation, testing and monitoring frameworks for quality, safety, latency and cost.
• Assess emerging AI tools and provide build‑vs‑buy recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, translating technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum three years of software engineering experience with production AI/ML applications.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑growing, entrepreneurial environment.

Required skills

• Experience with Large Language Model (LLM) APIs.
• Proficiency in prompting, tool calling and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques.
• Solid understanding of machine‑learning fundamentals.
• Knowledge of generative AI patterns and AI application development.
