Assets Engineer

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Assets Engineer to support municipal and infrastructure asset activities in the Al Dhafrah Region, Abu Dhabi. You will coordinate permits, maintain accurate project records, and assist with planning, budgeting, and reporting while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update asset registers in Osool, including tagging, coding, and classification.
• Supervise infrastructure permits from initiation to closure, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Review and process land status and land‑use modification requests aligned with municipal master plans.
• Integrate new or updated assets into the asset system and keep audit‑ready documentation.
• Develop investment plans, monitor expenditure, and report on IT infrastructure‑related projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, attend meetings, and prepare progress reports and technical documentation.
• Conduct field inspections and produce condition and lifecycle assessment reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in asset management, infrastructure permits, or related engineering fields.
• Strong IT and computer literacy for asset systems and reporting.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi engineering registration preferred.
