Assistant Analyst - Data Security

About the role

The Assistant Analyst – Data Security will support Access Governance and Data Security functions within ADIB's Group Information Security Department. The role focuses on timely access reviews and data‑security assessments to strengthen the bank’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Perform access reviews for business and infrastructure applications, ensuring compliance with access‑governance policies.
• Conduct ad‑hoc reviews based on risk escalations and maintain the application access matrix.
• Coordinate with business units, HR, and the Information Security team to remediate unauthorized access.
• Review privileged‑account access and assess exceptions to the approved access matrix.
• Govern the IDAM solution, applying policies to IDAM workflows.
• Support the bank‑wide data‑classification exercise and develop/maintain DLP policies and rules.
• Provide periodic KPI/KRI reporting on data security and access governance.
• Participate in information‑security programs, audits, gap analyses, and remediation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• At least one security, risk or IT certification (e.g., Security+, ISO 27001) or certification in progress.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM, PAM) solutions and methodologies.
• Experience with privileged‑access management tools.
• Familiarity with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions such as Forcepoint or Microsoft Purview.
• Understanding of information‑security frameworks, regulations and international standards.
• Experience managing policy exceptions and documenting compensating controls.
