About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Chef to join our team at Parx cafe LLC in Dubai. You will support the kitchen in preparing a variety of dishes, with a focus on kid‑friendly meals and catering for busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking according to menu standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation (FIFO) and inventory control.
- Prepare kid‑friendly meals, snacks and party food items.
- Support timely service during peak times and special events.
- Follow food safety guidelines and HACCP standards.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a kitchen, preferably in casual dining or a children‑focused venue.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
