Assistant Construction Manager – MEP

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized, field‑driven MEP Engineer to lead the on‑site installation, testing and commissioning of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing systems. The role bridges engineering designs with physical execution, managing specialised subcontractors and ensuring compliance with local building codes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise installation of HVAC ductwork, chiller systems, VRF units, air handling units, fire sprinkler and ventilation systems.
• Oversee electrical containment, cable pulling, distribution board terminations, lighting layouts and low‑voltage systems such as CCTV, access control and fire alarms.
• Coordinate daily tasks for MEP subcontractors and trade labour to maintain continuous progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship against quality standards, approved shop drawings and local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense).

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–12 years of on‑site construction experience handling integrated MEP scopes on residential, commercial or industrial projects.
