About the role
Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Cost Manager to support its Cost Management team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves assisting with cost estimation, Bills of Quantities preparation and ensuring timely delivery of cost information throughout project lifecycles.
Key responsibilities
- Estimate and prepare Bills of Quantities for assigned projects.
- Take personal responsibility for the accuracy and quality of work produced.
- Assist the team in generating accurate and timely cost reports and information.
- Interface professionally with team members and other stakeholders.
Required profile
- Knowledge of the real‑estate sector and cost management/quantity surveying.
- Basic experience in estimating and preparing Bills of Quantities.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in a similar cost management role.
- Desire to obtain professional membership such as MRICS.
- Willingness to learn, work collaboratively and progress to the next career level.
Required skills
- Proficiency with cost management software, preferably CostX or similar tools.
