Assistant Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the F&B operations at Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai. The role will ensure safety, quality and efficiency across lounge and catering services while contributing to menu development and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety management system, HACCP, hygiene policies and EKFC safety standards.
• Assess manpower needs, conduct orientation and training, and monitor staff performance.
• Manage staff costs, including overtime and unplanned absences, and improve lounge operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with production on menu changes, food presentation and kitchen matters to deliver high‑quality food.
• Support the F&B Manager in developing new beverage menus and concepts.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, and analyse feedback for service improvement.
• Apply the Quality Policy and ISO 9001:2015 based quality system in daily operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hotel management or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of hospitality experience, including at least 1 year in a managerial role within a 5‑star environment.
• Strong knowledge of luxury hotel and stand‑alone restaurant operations, food safety regulations and cost control.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage conflicts and drive continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
