Assistant Food & Beverage Outlet Manager – Penrose Lounge

About the role

The Assistant Food & Beverage Outlet Manager will support the Director of Restaurants & Bars in the day‑to‑day operations of the Penrose Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel DIFC. This role is hands‑on, guest‑focused and aims to uphold the brand’s luxury standards while driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Director in managing daily lounge operations and ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor, address guest requests, complaints and special requirements promptly.
• Control labour costs and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting and purchasing decisions.
• Supervise, coach and train staff to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences.
• Monitor the physical condition of facilities and equipment, recommending improvements as needed.
• Oversee inventory management, cost control and cash handling procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene regulations and internal standards.
• Support sales initiatives and promotional activities for the outlet.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role within a restaurant or lounge.
• Proven track record in restaurant or lounge management; exposure to Michelin‑star environments is a plus.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑service mindset.
