Assistant General Manager – Luxury Lifestyle Dining

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the leadership of Bâoli Dubai, a high‑energy restaurant, poolside and nightlife venue. The role will help drive exceptional guest experiences across dining, pool and entertainment areas in a fast‑paced, luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant, pool, and nightlife venue.
• Lead, inspire and develop department managers and front‑of‑house teams to ensure premium service.
• Maintain service standards during high‑volume lunch, dinner and nightlife periods.
• Engage with VIP and returning guests to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Guest Relations, Entertainment, Kitchen, Bar and Marketing teams for seamless operations.
• Monitor sales, labour costs, productivity and operational KPIs to maximize profitability.
• Coach managers through feedback, performance reviews and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations and brand standards.
• Handle guest concerns professionally while upholding hospitality standards.
• Support the General Manager in achieving commercial, operational and financial objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience as an Assistant General Manager in luxury lifestyle dining or nightlife venues.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume operations while maintaining premium service standards.
• Strong leadership skills with experience motivating multicultural teams.
• Commercially driven with solid understanding of P&L, labour management and revenue optimisation.
• Excellent knowledge of luxury service standards and VIP guest management.
• Experience with entertainment‑led concepts, DJs, live performances and event‑driven operations is highly preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a strong advantage.
• International lifestyle dining/nightlife experience is desirable.
