Assistant Groomer (Full‑time)

About the role

Groomy Pet is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Groomer to join its Abu Dhabi facility. You will work closely with the head groomer and veterinary team to ensure every pet receives a safe, clean, and comfortable grooming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Dematting, detangling, bathing, conditioning, and drying pets of various sizes and temperaments.
• Assist the head groomer with nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and styling according to owner instructions.
• Identify and report health concerns such as ear infections, skin issues, or dental problems.
• Maintain grooming tools and equipment in good working order.
• Keep the grooming area clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with colleagues to foster a teamwork‑focused environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional pet grooming experience.
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with clients.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
