Assistant Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Assistant Human Resources Manager supports the HR function at Bab Al Shams Desert Resort, delivering high‑level service to employees and management. The role assists with recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination and HR administration while ensuring compliance with hotel policies, labour law and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and driving the HR strategy in line with Kerzner Global HR direction.
• Coordinate internal communications to ensure timely, relevant messages.
• Support the Director of HR in the annual HR budget process and monitor P&L of direct reports.
• Communicate and support localisation initiatives.
• Contribute to workforce planning to optimise staffing levels, productivity and service standards.
• Analyse HR statistics, identify trends and adjust resources accordingly.
• Liaise with line departments for manpower planning and conduct interviews for management positions.
• Oversee the onboarding process to ensure a smooth settling‑in period for new colleagues.
• Assist in the annual HR review to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Communicate CES results, develop action plans and improve working conditions.
• Execute the management performance process, providing feedback and development opportunities.
