Assistant Laundry Manager

About the role

The Assistant Laundry Manager supports the Laundry Manager in overseeing daily hotel laundry and linen operations, ensuring guest laundry, hotel linen, uniforms and other textiles are processed to luxury‑hotel standards of quality, hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Laundry Manager in managing the hotel laundry department.
• Supervise and coordinate laundry team members to maintain efficient workflow.
• Monitor washing, drying, pressing, folding, sorting and distribution of linen, uniforms, guest laundry and F&B linen.
• Ensure all items are processed according to approved procedures, fabric‑care instructions and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation throughout the laundry area.
• Conduct regular inspections of processed linen and uniforms for quality and presentation.
• Monitor linen and uniform inventory levels and assist with stocktaking.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Rooms Division, Food & Beverage and other departments regarding linen and uniform requirements.
• Handle guest laundry and special requests accurately and promptly.
• Monitor equipment condition, report technical issues and assist with preventive maintenance schedules.
