Assistant Manager – Facilities

About the role

Atlantis The Royal, an ultra‑luxury resort in Dubai, is seeking an Assistant Manager – Facilities to ensure the smooth operation of kitchen, laundry, restaurant equipment and all MEP systems. You will work closely with the Facilities team and other departments to minimise downtime and maintain a safe, reliable environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team, ensuring tasks and work orders are completed safely and on schedule.
• Oversee inspection, repair and preventive maintenance of all equipment and facilities.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with Kitchen Operations to reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, HACCP and property standards.
• Escalate technical or safety issues to senior management with clear recommendations.
• Maintain tools, equipment and calibration records up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant facilities maintenance experience or an equivalent mix of education and hands‑on work.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, preventive maintenance practices and HACCP requirements.
• Ability to lead a team, conduct risk assessments and enforce safety procedures.
