Assistant Manager – IT Applications (UAE National)

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager – IT Applications to support, maintain, and enhance a portfolio of over 30 business applications within a highly regulated corporate environment. The role is open to UAE Nationals with a strong background in enterprise IT.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve a suite of business applications, delivering upgrades, enhancements, and lifecycle activities.
• Participate in application development, coding, debugging, and performance optimisation.
• Coordinate with external vendors, implementation partners, and service providers.
• Support technology projects, implementations, and business improvement initiatives.
• Maintain documentation, governance controls, audit readiness, and compliance standards.
• Provide user support, knowledge transfer, and training across business applications.

Required profile

• UAE National.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting enterprise or business applications.
• Strong understanding of software development, databases, Windows and Linux environments.
• Experience with ERP, HRMS or similar enterprise platforms.
• Technical certifications such as ITIL, cloud or DevOps are advantageous.
