Assistant Manager - Operational Risk Consultant

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Operational Risk Consultant supports the Head of Operational Risk in reviewing, reporting, monitoring and coordinating risk‑related activities across Tanfeeth. The role bridges internal audit observations, risk analytics and fraud management to ensure robust risk assessment of operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update internal audit observations, ensuring accurate reporting to management.
• Track and monitor open audit items, escalating any delays.
• Recommend and implement best practices across Tanfeeth units.
• Conduct independent risk reviews for high‑risk teams and support new product/process assessments.
• Identify gaps in proposed processes, propose risk mitigation solutions, and manage turnaround times.
• Initiate ORCA for critical units, enhance KRIs, and perform control‑check sampling.
• Report operational risk events, perform trend analysis, and ensure data quality.
• Lead monthly risk review sessions with functional risk champions.
• Promote operational risk, fraud, and information‑security awareness throughout the organization.
• Track fraud investigation recommendations and suggest process or system enhancements.
• Review root‑cause analyses of real‑time alerts and periodically update control checks.

Required profile

• Experience in operational risk, internal audit or risk management.
• Ability to analyse risk data, identify gaps and propose actionable solutions.
• Strong coordination skills to work with multiple business units and risk functions.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
