Assistant Manager – Public Sector GRC

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Manager to lead Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) engagements for public‑sector and government‑related clients in Abu Dhabi. You will manage project delivery, support transformation initiatives, and ensure high‑quality advisory outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver GRC and internal audit engagements for public‑sector entities.
• Manage day‑to‑day project execution, including planning, fieldwork, quality reviews and reporting.
• Design and assess governance frameworks, risk registers, risk appetite models and ERM initiatives.
• Conduct compliance assessments against UAE/GCC regulations and international standards (e.g., COSO, IIA).
• Supervise and coach junior team members, reviewing their work for accuracy.
• Support business development by contributing to proposals, methodologies and thought‑leadership pieces.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience in GRC, internal audit or public‑sector advisory.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CRISC, CPA, ACCA are advantageous.
• Strong understanding of UAE/GCC government regulations and public‑sector transformation.
