Assistant Pastry Chef

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Pastry Chef to join our luxury hotel’s pastry team in Dubai. The role supports the Pastry Chef in delivering high‑quality pastries and bakery products that meet the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily pastry and bakery operations, ensuring quality, consistency, presentation and cost efficiency.
• Develop new pastry concepts, designs and menu items.
• Maintain proper food handling, temperature control and storage standards.
• Assist the Pastry Chef with menu development and recipe standardisation.
• Lead, train and coach the pastry team while upholding hygiene and safety standards.
• Collaborate on refined menus and innovative offerings to enhance the guest experience.
• Enforce strict health and hygiene regulations.
• Foster a cooperative and friendly work environment.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience as an Assistant Pastry Chef in a luxury hotel of at least 500 rooms.
• Pre‑opening experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication, flexibility to work shifts and ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
