Assistant Production Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Production Manager to support the production team at our Dubai facility. The role focuses on planning, material control, schedule management and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan manpower, enhance capacity and control materials.
• Develop and monitor production schedules to meet specified timelines.
• Coordinate with stores for material issue controls, import purchase planning and lead‑time management.
• Implement corrective actions for product and process non‑conformities.
• Control quantity, drive process improvements and manage deficiencies.
• Implement management systems, policies and procedures for continual improvement.
• Monitor manpower and identify training requirements.
• Maintain machinery and equipment, manage scrap and non‑conforming products.
• Promote housekeeping, clean surroundings and effective waste‑management systems.

Required profile

• Experience in production planning and control.
• Ability to monitor manpower and identify training needs.
• Knowledge of management systems, policies and continuous improvement practices.
• Familiarity with equipment maintenance and waste‑management procedures.
