Assistant Quality Officer

About the role

The Assistant Quality Officer will support the redesign and implementation of policy management processes across SEHA Corporate and its healthcare regions. Working closely with internal teams, the role ensures compliance with accreditation standards and drives continuous quality improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in developing, implementing and monitoring a new policy management process.
• Support the establishment of structures needed for effective process rollout.
• Coordinate communication plans with stakeholders across SEHA Corporate and healthcare regions.
• Collaborate with teams to maintain accreditation and certification compliance.
• Assist in onsite survey activities and implement improvement initiatives based on findings.
• Contribute to the SEHA-wide safety culture framework, including survey execution and analysis.
• Help identify and standardise critical policies and raise staff awareness.
• Support regional Quality and Patient Safety education programs.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring systems, policies and procedures meet requirements.
• Prepare written reports, deliver presentations and lead regular CQI committee meetings.

• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
