About the role

Dubai Business School at the University of Dubai invites applications for the position of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Economics, with an anticipated start date in Spring or Fall 2026. Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate, graduate and PhD courses in Economics, employing innovative and digital teaching methods.
• Conduct high‑quality research, publish in peer‑reviewed journals indexed in Scopus, and present findings at international conferences.
• Secure external research funding and lead collaborative projects with industry partners.
• Develop and continuously improve curriculum to align with Dubai’s evolving commercial ecosystem.
• Mentor and supervise students, fostering their academic and professional development.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) in Economics or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution, obtained by the time of appointment.
• Demonstrated record of high‑impact research publications and teaching excellence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Practical or industry experience relevant to economics is an advantage.
