Associate Analyst – Risk Governance & Policy

About the role

This graduate position supports Group Risk Management in Abu Dhabi by coordinating risk governance, policy administration, and regulatory activities. It offers fresh UAE nationals practical exposure to enterprise risk governance while working on tracking, analysis, and stakeholder support under close supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain governance calendars, policy registers, change logs and evidence repositories across Group Risk.
• Support the full policy lifecycle: consultation, version control, approval tracking, communication, review and archiving.
• Prepare materials and coordinate inputs for management, Board risk committees, governance forums and regulator interactions.
• Track actions, decisions, dependencies and issues; follow up with owners to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist regulatory mapping, gap assessments, evidence collation and remediation reporting.
• Support Risk Transformation & Strategy workstreams by updating roadmaps, milestone plans, benefits trackers and status packs.
• Document target operating model changes, process improvements and control enhancements.
• Contribute to risk appetite reviews, material risk identification and taxonomy updates.

Required profile

• UAE national, fresh graduate (no prior experience required).
• Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across risk disciplines.
